Analytics & Monthly Reports

FigureOut's analytics reporting module aggregates Google Business Profile performance signals from multiple official Metrics APIs to help business owners measure, track, and optimize their local search visibility and customer behavior patterns over time.

1. Metrics Available in the Analytics Dashboard

Metric Name GBP API Source What It Means
Google Search Impressions BUSINESS_IMPRESSIONS_MOBILE_SEARCH How many people saw your listing in mobile Google Search.
Maps Impressions BUSINESS_IMPRESSIONS_MOBILE_MAPS Searches from Google Maps mobile app in your area.
Call Clicks CALL_CLICKS Number of users who clicked "Call" from your listing in the tracked period.
Direction Requests BUSINESS_DIRECTION_REQUESTS Customers who clicked "Get Directions" to navigate to your business.
Website Clicks WEBSITE_CLICKS Users who clicked through to your website URL from your GMB listing.

2. Data Freshness & Caching Behavior

Google's Performance Metrics API carries a 72-hour data processing lag. This means the metrics displayed on your dashboard reflect engagement data through the last confirmed processing window, typically showing data up to 3 days behind today's date. This is a known Google API constraint and is not specific to FigureOut.

FigureOut caches the most recent analytics payload for 6 hours to prevent redundant API calls. You can force a fresh fetch on the Analytics page by clicking the Refresh Metrics button.

3. Date Range Selection & Trend Comparison

The analytics dashboard supports 4 date range presets:

  • Last 7 Days: Ideal for tracking weekly campaign impact (post publishing, review bursts).
  • Last 30 Days: Standard monthly performance benchmark for board reporting.
  • Last 90 Days: Best for observing seasonal patterns and quarterly growth trends.
  • Custom Range: Select any start and end date within the last 18 months of available data.

4. Exporting Analytics Reports to PDF

FigureOut supports one-click PDF export for all analytics charts and data tables. To export:

1

Navigate to the Analytics section and select a date range.

2

Click the Export PDF button in the top-right corner of the analytics card.

3

A formatted PDF report is generated and downloaded instantly to your local device.
