Statutory Rights under DPDP Act 2023 (Section 12)

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act 2023, every Data Principal whose personal data is collected or processed by FigureOut possesses the statutory right to request the correction of inaccurate data, the completion of incomplete records, and the updating of outdated information.

Scope of Modifiable Data

  • Account Profile: Legal name, business trading name, primary contact phone number, billing address, and authorized user email addresses.
  • Connected Google Accounts: Re-linking or updating associated Google Business Profile OAuth scopes and location IDs.
  • Notification Preferences: Modifying scheduled digest emails, weekly ranking reports, and WhatsApp notification alerts.

Verification & Security Protocols

To prevent unauthorized modifications, fraudulent takeovers, and identity impersonation, our Data Protection Officer executes strict identity verification before committing alterations to production databases. Requests must originate from the registered email address or be confirmed via cryptographic confirmation link.

Processing SLA & Support Escalation

All submitted correction requests are logged with unique correlation timestamps. Our team acknowledges tickets within 72 business hours and completes full system-wide database rectification within 30 days.
