“Everything was fine, the ambience, atmosphere were really nice but the food needed improvement. It was pretty bland.”
“Their signature Cranberry Cold Brew Cranberry Coffee receives universal acclaim. It’s frequently called "the best in the city" for its refreshing balance of fruity tartness and sharp coffee notes. Long Waiting Times & Crowds Because of its immense popularity, walking straight into a table during peak hours evenings and weekends is notoriously difficult. Waiting times can range from 20 minutes to over an hour, and the indoor seating area can get quite loud and chaotic when full.”
“My all time favourite”
“A mother of 80, a sleepy tired attendant in her 60s, a cancer patient who is a frequent guest there and me, we were wonderfully accommodated by the affectionate, dignified and kind staff of Roastery. Sitting outdoors in the courtyard sweltering summer was surprisingly comfortable. we chose our food more or less healthily and really didnt expect the wonderful chocolate dessert on the house!”
“An amazing experience at the spot. Beautiful ambience, quality servings, good service”
“One of the 10/10 aesthetic places ever. This open lawn of an age old house really is a great experience for spending time with your loved ones. Food was pretty good and compared to other cafes and shops(not naming then ofc), the price is pretty reasonable. Staff was good, had a great time and really enjoyed the vibe. Would definitely recommend the cranberry coffee and burnt cheesecake (not the chocolate one). The cheesecake is absolutely marvelous and worth the price!”
“Went to Roastery Coffee House after hearing people hype it up like it’s the second coming of coffee culture. Turns out it’s just a very crowded room with the acoustic charm of a railway waiting hall and the cleanliness standards of “we wiped the table with vibes.” The food? Peak “random roadside cafe near every Kolkata crossing” energy — except roadside places sometimes actually season food properly. The cold coffee with ice cream tasted like someone aggressively blended vanilla ice cream with regret. The Nara Bari coffee was so bitter I briefly wondered if they brewed resentment instead of beans. Then came the pesto pizza. After waiting long enough to harvest the basil myself, it finally arrived: salty, dry, barely any cheese, and topped with LETTUCE. Lettuce. On pizza. Seriously… who puts lettuce on pizza? At this point I was less dining and more participating in a culinary social experiment. I genuinely feel bad for people who rated this place highly. Either expectations are underground, or the aesthetic coffee cups have hypnotized everyone into ignoring the food.”
