“Been here a couple of times, though my recent experiences have been FAR better than my earlier ones. I've had experiences of being served stale chicken wings and cold fries once. Also, they do not use Kolkata bhetki for their fish items, but use bassa — a shame, since they charge pretty high prices, where they could at least use bhola bhetki for a better taste. Recently though, I've had their zucchini fries (a miracle of rare device), the non-veg club sandwich, and the BBQ chicken wings. The zucchini fries are truly excellent, served hot and crunchy with a spice flavouring, and fresh zucchini strips inside. The non veg club sandwich could easily work as dinner. Three slices of bread cut into quarters and served with fries — inside, there's omelette, there's chicken salami, grilled chicken, with onion, capsicum and cheese. The BBQ chicken wings are crisp and soft, and flavoured sweet and smoky, as a good BBQ should be. Overall, my recent experiences were really really satisfying. The staff is polite and helpful, ample seating space, good lighting and comfortable seats. The good lighting and 'instagrammable spots' also, unfortunately, attract young citizens with a severe lack of civic sense, and a group of six youths who had collectively bought a single brownie, took turns to take photos RIGHT behind my seat and were really loud and pushy. A sincere request to the cafe to separate these photo spots from the seating area because some of us just want to spend a quiet evening in a wonderful cafe without being marauded over by photoshoots.”

“Went during on a firday evening after the new years. Absolutely loved the vibes, the food, the decor and the Vietnamese cold coffee. We had to wait for 20 mins for a table of 2 but no complaints. The hot chocolate with brownie was totally worth it. ( a bit too sweet for me but my sweet-tooth friend loved it). I personally also liked the club sandwich. Staff were super nice and they even took picture of us with the decor when requested.”
