“I really enjoyed the Vegetarian Onam Sadhya at Café Atheyka. It offered a generous and well-curated spread of traditional Kerala flavours, including Kerala matta rice, parippu with ghee, sambar, rasam, mor kuzhambu, avial, olan, erissery, beans thoran and kootu curry. The variety of sides—pachadis, inji puli, mango pickle, banana chips and pappadam—made the meal especially enjoyable. The Ela Ada and payasams were a lovely way to finish the Sadhya. Overall, the food was flavourful, balanced and satisfying, and I enjoyed the experience of having such a traditional festive meal. The café has a clean, simple and minimalist décor, making it a pleasant and relaxed place to dine. The only drawbacks were the approximately one hour wait for a table and the fact that parking can be slightly difficult to find. Overall, a very enjoyable Onam Sadhya experience at Café Atheyka—well worth trying for anyone who appreciates authentic Kerala vegetarian cuisine.”

“This Onam Sadya at Sector 104 was very disappointing! We were told on the phone that 12.15 the Sadya will start and they didn’t serve us till almost 1 pm! Service was pretty bad and the dishes were not up to the mark. You need to get a chef from Kerala or Tamil Nadu for authenticity.”
