“The highlight of the place is its ambience, that's it. We didn't like the food, neither veg nor non-veg, there was nothing special just regular taste. If you are a foodie, I wouldn't recommend going there, if you must, one can visit just to experience its ambience and outside place.”
“Roastery management needs to look into their ordering flow which is designed to make people enraged. You need to scan a QR. Our table didn't have a QR. We stole one from the table next to us. Now the outlet has no cell signal for internet. Wifi? The wifi doesn't work. After struggling with hotspots for 10 minutes, the QR opens a bloated AI powered ordering flow. The AI tells me the coffee at this coffee place is good. I sure hope so? The order needs an OTP to be placed, but the signal issue means you don't get the OTP on time. The waiters refuse a physical menu. Then the order finally goes through. The waiter then walks up to you and reads out your OTP-verified order back to you and physically verifies what the OTP already verified. At this point I've wasted 15 minutes and hate the restaurant and my life. What happened to be being able to place an order and getting your food? Why must I go along with this sadomasochistic fetish of jumping through loops just so you can add my phone number to your marketing list. I'm not going to come back anyway. Everyone makes sandwiches and coffee, only Roastery puts you through this dystopian OTP hell that makes IRCTC look modern.”
