“I recently visited Roastery Coffee House (4th of September) and, unfortunately, had a less-than-satisfactory experience. We ordered a few dishes, including the Mexican pizza and Cottage Cheese in Paprika Sauce. While the pizza was packed properly when we requested to take our leftovers home, the Cottage Cheese dish was a disappointment. Out of three pieces, there was one untouched piece left along with some rice and vegetables. To our surprise, only the rice and vegetables were packed, leaving out the untouched piece of cottage cheese. Additionally, we requested extra sauce, which was completely ignored by the staff. To add to the disappointment, the waiter who served us for the majority of our meal (whom I recall was wearing glasses) was replaced by another waiter named Shivam, who brought us the bill and immediately asked us to leave a good review in his name despite not serving us for most of the evening. Another issue we noticed was that the portion sizes seem to have been reduced, although the prices remain the same. Moreover, the service was slow. We ordered Zucchini fries as soon as we arrived, intending to have them as a snack while choosing our main dishes. However, they were served last, after all our other food had already arrived. There was also no choice of fresh juices or smoothies, which was disappointing given the prices. The waiter offered packed juices instead, claiming the taste was the same. However, this wasn’t suitable for us as my husband is allergic to preservatives. At these prices, the juices should really be fresh. On a positive note, cranberry coffee was good, which was a small consolation during an otherwise disappointing visit. I hope the management addresses these issues to improve the experience for future guests.”
“Everything was good except service is not top notch.”
“It is not at all a pet-friendly cafe/restaurant. Pets are only allowed outside whether it is a hot summer day or not.”
“We went to Roastery because we wanted to try a new place. Dint expect that Lucknow has lowered their tastes at a few places. Damn it was Overcrowded, the taste of a basic grilled sandwich with fries is expected to be good, obviously right ( BUT Your fries were not good could have easily been tasty, grilled sandwich (enhance the flavours it was so dry and not good at all (really wanted to try your non veg dishes but god I can’t punish my tastebuds), nonetheless, sprouts were the only thing I loved otherwise everything else was disappointing) cranberry with coffee have tried in Delhi - yours was also nice (good initiative) basic cappuccino yar wth what’s wrong( either don’t take so many reservations (inside it was more like a fish market - spacious still you are failing to maintain the basics) cmon such an aesthetic setup serve good food and don’t overbook. Let’s not lower the standards of Lucknow! Compliments to the stewards, great job in hiring) For a place, known for coffee and as your name suggests. I am sure you must be getting a good ROI, fizul hi overcrowded kar rakha hai bhyi but if you’re serving something that has to be good in taste considering your competition. You can’t compromise on taste for a long run. Good luck!”
