“After new branch in hazratganj, the quality of food and hospitality at the gomti nagar branch has become really bad. The chicken was not washed or cooked properly, it was stale infact. The staff was really unprofessional. I always used to love the place because the staff was really warm and welcoming and the food was fresh. We were served cold and undercooked food. The staff wasn’t even apologetic. They’re even stingy with the portions now, barely any rice being served in the “main course”, the portions used to be perfect earlier. And when asked about dessert options on the menu, rather than telling us the options, we were told “aap abhi khadi toh thi dessert section pe” which is highly unprofessional and I felt like I had come inside a roadside restaurant. The vibe was really dead, no music, they were famous for their coldplay playlist but now all you can hear is the kitchen staff fighting and the banging of the pots in the kitchen. Crowd was also really bad. Overall, the whole vibe and the quality of the place has now been degraded. They’ve hired new staff and chefs who are really unprofessional and have a very casual and careless attitude. They don’t care about the hygiene or the ambiance or the service anymore. Which you could tell by the lack/ quality of the crowd. I’m really sad that one of my favourites cafes in lucknow has now become a place that I’ll never visit again, unless the management focuses on improving the place. I really hope that my feedback is taken seriously by their team and necessary actions are taken by the managers and owners.”
