“Quality food. Prompt service. Sitting can be limited on weekends though”
“Food quality is good”
“I recently visited Cafe Athekya and honestly, it turned out to be one of the most satisfying South Indian dining experiences I’ve had in Noida. The first thing you notice is the calm and homely ambience. It doesn’t feel like a loud commercial restaurant — instead it gives a warm, comfortable vibe where you can actually sit and enjoy your food and conversations. Perfect for families, especially if you want a relaxed outing without chaos or crowd pressure. Now coming to the food — absolutely authentic and fresh. The dosas were crisp from outside yet soft inside, with a proper fermented batter taste (which is rare to find nowadays). The sambar was flavourful and not overly spicy, and the chutneys tasted freshly prepared rather than refrigerated or packaged. You can genuinely tell the kitchen focuses on quality instead of shortcuts. What I personally loved: Balanced flavours — not oily, not heavy Proper South Indian aroma (curry leaves, mustard seeds, hing done right) Light on stomach yet filling Consistency in taste across dishes Service was polite and attentive without being intrusive. The staff patiently explained dishes and were very courteous, which adds a lot to the overall experience when you’re visiting with family or elders. Overall, this place is not just about eating — it’s about enjoying a calm, wholesome meal together. Highly recommended for family dinners, casual meetups, or when you simply want comforting South Indian food done properly. Definitely visiting again.”
“Food that makes you want more!”
“Quite spacious, good ambience and amazing food.”
“The guthi vankaya rice with palak daal and coconut payasam are must try at this place.”
“The cafe has good ambience and very polite and well-mannered staff. Ordered rava masala dosa, rasam, and curd rice there. The quality and hygiene were good. Near and clean washrooms. You are served with warm water infused with mint leaves during winters. The taste of the rava masala dosa and rasam was just okay, not upto the level of the kind of place it is. Curd rice was good. Their serving size is really very small, I mean really small compared to what I have eaten in many other famous South Indian restaurants, also consider the price point. Rasam in a small bowl with a papad, curd rice also in a small bowl with a papad, and rava masala dosa with 2 chutneys in tiny bowls and one chutney just a spoon on the plate. I definitely believe it can be improved to a great extent. I hope the manager/owner will consider the aforementioned feedback.”
“Love the vibe of this place. The food is amazing. The staff is polite too. It’s always great to come and have breakfast early morning here.. loved the ambiance of the place too”
